Now “N” Present

The “N” represents the Now, the present, which is different from the “P” and “F” of thinking, which, though also taking place in the present moment, is about remembering patterns of information acquired previously (P) and about rearranging these stored patterns of information and projecting them into the future (F).

The “N” of sensation and perception take place always in the present moment. They are events always happening Now.

Thinking, though also taking place in the Now, is a different kind of event because it is not attending the present, it is attending P's and F's.
