Metaphysics

Metaphysics is defined as dealing with metathings, which have no beginning and no ending. They are everlasting and eternal. They have always been and always will be though their parts may continuously change and transform and become different. It is from parts of metathings that things are formed.

Thus at any given moment the metathing has a content of things but not always in the same states, same formations nor same compositions. The whole metathing repeats but not its component things and contents.
